Aqua Enviro awarded international health and safety certification
Specialist environmental consultancy Aqua Enviro has been awarded BS OHSAS 18001 accreditation, an international standard for occupational health and safety management good practice.
The certification shows Aqua Enviro’s systems of work, health and safety policies and documentation are fully compliant with the stringent standards needed for certification.
The OHSAS accreditation has been achieved over a period of 12 months and was gained following a number of audits and assessments of the company’s health and safety procedures.
Senior Process Scientist at Aqua Enviro, Emma Morley, said: “This certification demonstrates our commitment to ensuring health and safety as well as meeting the requirements of our clients on larger framework contracts.
“We look forward to continuing to develop a positive and proactive approach towards health and safety.”
Alongside quality management system ISO 9001 and the environment management system ISO 14001, the accreditation highlights the consultancy’s commitment to raising standards.
