Waste and wastewater are resources that are key components of the UK’s strategies for tackling climate change, generating renewable energy, stimulating economic growth, providing food security and improving air quality.
Aqua Enviro’s Operations’ Director, Matt Smyth, will be presenting the event at The Circle at Birchwood Park in Warrington on February 26th. The event, which is free of charge and open to all, starts at 6.30pm with a buffet provided from 6pm.
Matt has been involved in energy recovery from waste and wastewater through anaerobic digestion for 15 years. He has recently headed up a WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Programme) and Zero Waste Scotland project to investigate novel technologies which add value to digestion systems – and also helps reduce the quantities of digestate produced for final recycling.
